Build your team’s distributed work skills

Short courses with long-lasting impact

Real-world practical learning – online

We’re pioneers in creating highly-engaging online training, even in the years before covid-19! We deliver brain-friendly short courses featuring lively participation, active discussion and experimentation. That means participants in our courses remember what they learn – and move on to apply it in real life.

Our courses focus on building remote-communication skills: for leadership, for trainers and facilitators, and for team members.

These courses can also be offered as part of a wider organisational change programme about how to work better online.

We offer three training courses to help you do this:

Online Events That Connect

Escape Zoom fatigue, Powerpoint paralysis and death by debrief.

Online Events That Connect

For when your online gatherings – meetings, workshops, whole-team events  or conferences, MUST generate engagement in order to deliver

In two half-day online sessions, discover how to create a collaborative online space, power up human connections, and spark genuine dialogue

“I have learnt so many new ways of how to ensure everyone feels part of and takes part in virtual meetings and events.” Jo Penhaligon, Torbay Council

Distributed Project Teams

For distributed, remote or hybrid teams who want to work better together, wherever.

Distributed Project Teams

As distributed teams become a norm in today’s working world, there is opportunity to improve and refine online practices and habits. With the right tools and strategies, project teams can deliver successful projects, all whilst working in a distributed way.

Learn from organisations that are winning at hybrid working, draw on your own successes, and create new ways of working that really work for you.

The course is structured over 4-online sessions and gives lots of opportunity to test and learn some different approaches to online working.

Collaboration Dynamics

Distributed team members can adopt practices to help them work better in complex and fast-changing contexts.

Collaboration Dynamics

We believe that teams don’t need to accept the downsides to work from home.

Collaboration Dynamics offers 2 sessions over 5-weeks of practice work on how to adopt practices that empower people to take accountability for their work.  In between these sessions, there will be time to test and learn some different approaches to online working.

“I have worked remotely for more than 10 years, managing staff in multiple countries and thought I did it well. However doing this course really changed the way I work, as it demonstrated multiple ways you can make people feel more connected and engaged virtually… 8 hours online went by in a flash, it was so engaging! No Zoom fatigue here! I would highly recommend this course to anyone managing remote teams or running online events.”

Sharyn Hight
National Volunteering Manager RMHC New Zealand
“Two things happen when you take this course. First, you gain an awareness for how terrible most online events are (including your own). Second, you learn what it actually takes to rise above the status quo through participatory methods… You gain the knowledge and experience you need to run better, more humane events that bring people together and leave them better off. Believe me, it makes worlds of difference.”
